Art (he/him) is the Executive Director of KFHC. His primary responsibilities include initiating community outreach programs and overseeing legal staff in filing complaints. Prior to this, he focused his practice on housing issues and landlord/tenant law. Art has taught for the National Business Institute and lectures to both landlords and tenants on a regular basis. He is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, State Bar of Georgia, and the Florida Bar.

Art received his B.S. degree in journalism with honors from the University of Florida. He earned his J.D. degree (magna cum laude) from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he was a member of the Georgia Chapter of the Order of the Coif. [email] [ext. 104]

Carrie (she/her) is the Assistant Director at KFHC. Carrie, a graduate of James A. Rhodes State College in Ohio, holds an associate's degree in applied science. She is deeply committed to fair housing advocacy, working diligently with landlords and tenants to address any fair housing issues that may emerge over time. Drawing upon her expertise and passion, Carrie aspires to further her career in the fair housing sector through advanced education or certification. Her ultimate goal is to play a pivotal role in shaping and influencing fair housing policies and practices on local, state, and even national scales. With a passion for community service and a commitment to making a positive impact, Carrie also oversees the implementation and management of various programs aimed at addressing KFHC's mission. Annie (she/her) serves as our Programs Coordinator at the Kentucky Fair Housing Council (KFHC), where she is responsible for informing clients about KFHC services and Fair Housing regulations, providing legal advocacy and referrals to community services, as well as assisting with outreach efforts.

Before joining KFHC, Annie worked with organizations dedicated to supporting survivors of sexual violence in Kentucky and at a national level. She is passionate about advocacy and is currently pursuing further education in non-profit administration to enhance her ability to support community programs.

Originally from Eastern Kentucky, Annie has been a long-time resident of Lexington. In her free time, she enjoys gaming with friends, spending time in the garden, and creating fiber art.

Jill (she/her) serves the Homes for All program, focusing on housing security and homelessness prevention in KY. She is passionate about universal human rights, and especially for socially marginalized individuals who have experienced debilitating mental health issues, addiction, or incarceration. She believes that people have the capacity to heal, recover, and contribute to their society in a positive way, and hopes to provide advocacy and resources to those overcoming a difficult past while simultaneously growing toward a better future. 

Before joining AmeriCorps and KFHC, Jill attended the University of Kentucky and graduated with BAs in Liberal Studies and Philosophy. In the future, she hopes to continue her education while working to teach, empower, and support institutionalized and justice-impacted populations. 

In her spare time, Jill teaches dance fitness, writes poetry, and reads philosophy.
